Inspired by running in The Downs – Paper 22″ x 15″ – Half Sheet. Frame approx 65 x 48cm
Painted as a response to the forced incarceration of lockdown 2020. Myself and partner Jules curated a show called “Lockdown”. We did a lot of work over that short period and the work was somehow more poignant and personal than at other times.
The path in question is where runners and cyclists know as ‘the ruined barn’ near stoughton. It’s one of the few places where it’s actually quiet. Facing southwest, there are always good sunsets to see.
