2023 shows booked

Happy new year everyone.Β

This year I am venturing further north with shows. My first London gig πŸ™‚

For those of you who have not yet investigated the vibrant East End, I could not recommend it enough! Brick Lane is probably one of the best known streets in E1 and today is a fashionable if still scruffy mecca for retro clothing and street culture. At the top of Brick Lane is the Gallery, privately run but feeling very much at the cross roads of the art establishment and street culture.

I am joining an as yet unknown cohort for Works on Paper, 9th-22nd May 2023.

I lived nearby in a squat in 1986. Happy days. Here is a drawing I made of the derelicts about to be demolished for some vanilla flats.

April

Once again we are on at the annual Emsworth Arts Trail.

As I write the fate of the ‘gallery’ we have always used is unknown as the pub’s owners wish to demolish and build a vanilla house there instead. Hang on? Is there a pattern emerging?

I will be sharing the space as always with creative and life partner Jules Roper.

We are on two weekends: 22-23 April and the long weekend of 29-10 April and 1 May. There is still a pub next door – perfect for a stroll some art and a pint πŸ™‚

November

The annual 6_Artists Collective is happening

16–19th November 2023 at the Farnham Pottery.

I share this space with 5 other artists across different disciplines. It’s a wonderful pre-christmas shopping opportunity!

Lovely coffee too!
