They run at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre, Havant PO9 1BS.
I lead two classes at the Spring. They are for either
- beginners wishing to try a few techniques, or
- improvers/confident developers who want to push their boundaries.
For the more confident i am more of a coach, less of a teacher, helping students discover their work. As an example below you see how I try to help students see their work as a way of developing, not an end in itself. Watercolour is about practice and fluidity so you never get it right first time.
For beginners I offer step by step techniques to start the process of self discovery. I usually demo a technique and allow students to get stuck in.
