Expressive and partly abstracted landscape inspired by a walk in the woods at the top of Kingley Vale.
Painted as part of my Lockdown series. I may have been partly mad at the time.
This ancient woodland and burial ground has a spooky air about it. The ancient yews go back to the middle ages. It always makes me think of fairy tales and mythical creatures. And without question, the hairs on your neck stand up.
