It’s that time again!
Come and see my most important show of the year!
I love the arts trail. As its a solo show it forces me to bring a new idea or body of work to reality. This show usually sets me up for the year in terms of creative direction.
This year I have enjoyed painting trees.
That’s not to say i don’t still enjoy painting boats or hills, but trees has felt like the thing.
What’s different this year?
I am framing my latest body of work rather beautifully, and with thanks to long-standing framer-partner Phil Poole, I have set a consistent style for my frames. And they ain’t shabby! These are conservation frames, with deep mounts and clearview glass – really smart (and a bit pricey…).
I will have some previous year’s work on sale in the back room – watch out for a bargain!
So come along to venue no 70 – the Sussex Brewery, Main road, Hermitage, Emsworth – and look for the out building in the car park.
This year I am sharing my space with Jules roper
showing her figure studies and talking about life drawing, tuition and in general all things art.
